Objectives and Functions
The ULS has the following objectives and functions:
General:
- To support the instructional, research, extension, and production programs as well as the cultural needs of the University.
- To provide the right material to the right person at the right time and place with the least cost.
Specific:
- To provide relevant and updated information resources for the instructional, research, extension, and production programs as well as for the cultural and recreational needs of the University.
- To allow maximum access to information through advanced information and communication technology.
- To provide appropriate place and facilities for work and study.
- To provide effective and efficient library services to the University community and its environs.
