Objectives and Functions

The ULS has the following objectives and functions:

General:

1. To support the instructional, research, extension, and production programs as well as the cultural needs of the University.
2. To provide the right material to the right person at the right time and place with the least cost.

Specific:

1. To provide relevant and updated information resources for the instructional, research, extension, and production programs as well as for the cultural and recreational needs of the University.
2. To allow maximum access to information through advanced information and communication technology.
3. To provide appropriate place and facilities for work and study.
4. To provide effective and efficient library services to the University community and its environs.
