Consul General Russel Brown of the U.S. Embassy Manila together with Honorary Consultant Anna Marie Ablan of the Republic of Belarus in Manila and party visited the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) – American Corner (AC) Batac on March 3, 2017. Dr. Prima Fe R. Franco, Officer-In-Charge; Atty. Ramon L. Leaño, Vice President for Administration and Business; and Dr. Lucena R. Felipe, Director AC and University Library System (ULS) with the librarians of ULS warmly welcomed the visitors. The MMSU-AC Batac is one of the 14 American Corners in the Philippines and the only one in Region I. Consul General Brown’s visit serves as an inspiration to continuously strengthen its role through its programs and projects in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Manila in promoting mutual understanding between the Philippines and the United States.
