The MMSU-American Corner (AC) joined in the celebration of the International Education Week (IEW) 2011 with the theme: “International Education: Inspiring Students Locally to Succeed Globally” on November 14-18, 2011.
In four sessions, EducationUSA Adviser Lucena R. Felipe had a presentation on the Importance of International Education and Studying in the U.S. specifically on the advantages of studying in the U.S., considerations for choosing the “right graduate school, requirements for admission to graduate schools, important reminders when applying for graduate education in the U.S., standardized tests, financing graduate study, the student visa, and sources of information on graduate programs. One hundred seventy undergraduate students benefited from the presentation. An exhibit was also organized consisting of information on IEW and materials on studying in the U.S. The exhibit extended up to the end of November.
